The two snorkelling points we went on our first day tour were simply amazing. The corals, the fishes and the colourful living features of which I don’t know how to distinguish between flora or fauna were lying untouched at the seabed. I had snorkelled at numerous snorkelling points including in Balicasag Island of Central Visaya, Philippines, and once again, I confirm Philippines provides me with the best underwater experience. Even beautiful islands of Indonesia cannot beat it.
We braved the current to live up to the opportunity to the fullest. During our snorkelling trip to the famous coral triangle of Twin Peaks Reef, we had to swim or paddle quite far but it was worth every paddle. Too bad, I did not bring the go pro to capture the video underwater.
After that we went to the Coral Eden, where Nazren shocked me with his sudden difficulty to breathe in the water. With sound causal management, we climbed aboard the banca without wasting any time. Even I could barely breathe because of too much of drinking the sea water. The waves were too high that we were easily swept aside.
So no pictures of the snorkelling experience.
Wait, our tour did not end there as we then headed to CYC Beach – one of the most famous beaches in Coron. It is a white sand beach out of nowhere with a superb view of mountain range in contrast with the sea blue colour. Here, we had to walk to the shore, atleast 200 metre away from where our boat docked.
CYC Beach is the most crowded island we had been that day. Please enjoy the scenery to understand why.
