As part of Celebrating 1Malaysia Truly Asia (C1MTA), a program organized by the Visit Malaysia Year 2014 Secretariat to promote Visit Malaysia Year throughout Malaysia, I was invited by Gaya Travel to join a new product by Kuala Lumpur Hop On Hop Off (KLHOHO) known as Hop-On Night Excursion.
Hop-On Night Excursion brings you on KL Hop On Hop Off open deck bus to enjoy the night view of Kuala Lumpur which will take you through the suburbs and see the urban life unfolds.
The first stop is KL City Gallery where you can view the magnificent KL City model measuring an incredible 40ft x 50ft which showcase the city’s past, present and future.
Then, the open deck bus will continue its journey to Kuala Lumpur mosque.
The third stop is Batu Caves, a Hindu shrine which house the tallest statue of Hindu God. Here, you can try to climb the 272 concrete steps to reach the top or you can play with the pigeons at the compound of Batu Caves.
Next, you will be taken to a local restaurant to enjoy Malaysian delicacy called “satay” and be entertained with local music every night. Satay is marinated, skewered and grilled chicken or beef meat, served with sweet peanut sauce.
If you get lucky, you will be able to enjoy the sunset.
After the delicious meal, Hop-On Night Excursion open deck bus will proceed to Look Out Point which is 100 meters above the city for a panoramic view of skyline and neon lights of Petronas Twin Tower. Undoubtedly, Look Out Point Bukit Ampang is the best place to enjoy panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur.
The open deck bus will head back to the city and pass through KLCC, Jalan Bukit Bintang before the tour ends at China Town where you could buy clothes and souvenirs provided that you need to negotiate the price down.www.hoponholidays.com
