As demanded by many, here is my itinerary for my Myanmar solo backpacking trip in June 2012:-
Day 1
Reached Yangon at 7.05pm (8.30 Malaysian time). Stayed at Mahabandoola Guest House.

Day 2
Street walk around Maha Bandoola Road. Went to Ministry of Tourism to change currency.
For direction to go to Aung Minglabar Bus from city centre and halal food joint of Nilar Biryani:

Day 3
Trekking from Kalaw to Intha village, where I slept at the host’s house for a night.

Day 4
Second day trekking with overnight stay at Buddhist monastery on top of the hill.

Day 5
Last day trekking for half day. Boat ride to Inle Lake for 2 hours. The evening session was spent for the leisure walking around Inle Lake. Accomodation used : Gypsy Inn, Inle Lake.

Day 6
Inle Lake Tour. – The morning market, Nampan village for traditional weaving experience, a stop at blacksmith & silver making, cigar house & boat making place, floating garden, Jumping cat monastery, Daung Oo Pagoda.

Day 7
Took a bus from Inle Lake to Bagan at 4.30a.m. at 11,500.00 – need to charter a tuk tuk which brought me to Nyang Swee Junction.
Immediately start the bicycle tour to Ananda Phaya, Gaw Daw Palin Pagoda, Thatbyinyu Temple, Mya Taw Thar Lacquer Ware Work Shop,
Day 8
Sunrise at Old Bagan. Shwegugyi Temple, Manuhar Temple, Gubyaukgyi, Thayaba Gate, Myu Zedi etc.
Took the night bus from Bagan to Yangon.

Day 9
Reached Yangon. Sweedagon Temple & Circular train.
Back to Malaysia.
TIPS: You can skip Kalaw and proceed to Inle Lake and from Inle Lake to Mandalay and then Bagan.
