We only had limited time at Sunway Lagoon, therefore we were restricted to WaterPark which consists of African Python – three double-seater tube slides – open, half open and closed), Cameroon Climb (Two Inverted double-seater tube slides), Congo Challenge (Six Lanes, head first slide), Kalahari Kids, Lake Kariba, Little Zimbabwe, Tube Slide, Victoria Falls, Voodoo Adventure, Wave Pool, Zambezi River and the new Waterplex 5D.
After we changed our clothes, we were taken to the world’s first Waterplex 5D attraction which is a water-based attraction which engages the rider’s sense of sight, sound and touch. The Waterplex 5D may sit 36 people in every experience that lasts approximately 10 minutes. The riders will be taken through a rollercoaster ride at first, then sailing across the open sea meeting the pirates from Pirates of the Carribean and through the wonderland where one would passby mermaids. No, it is not a normal ride but the one that makes you scream your lung out. So, please be forewarned!
Inside Waterplex 5D. Motion.
Next, we took to a little tube slide adventure. I paired up with Rika for which I had to take the front seat. I held my go pro tight as we slid down the tube screaming. Once you come down, you definitely want to try for another slide. Too bad, we did not have enough time for that.

Please excuse the loud scream.
Then, we went to the wave pool for another adventure.
One facility worth mentioning here is the e-wallet system where you will be given some sort of toy wrist. Toy wrist may be used to purchase all-day use locker or in fact buy food. Credit refunds will be available before 7pm. Cool, right? My locker opened up just by flashing the wrist watch at the machine provided.
I will definitely come back to try Vuvuzela, the world’s largest vortex water ride, which will be opened by next month. So any takers? Sunway Lagoon is having unprecedented promotion to all Malaysian visitors whereby the first 1,000 Malaysians to purchase passes at the ticketing counters at Sunway Lagoon on the 20th every month can enjoy all parks at RM20 only. Cheap, cheap.

My kids just love Sunway Lagoon. I mean, who wouldn’t? I just have one complain about this place. Even though u have purchased yr tix online, u still have to Q with the other patrons who haven’t bought their tix. So, u will end up just wasting yr time together with the others… well, that was a few years ago..i hope the management has found solution to this prob…;)
When I was there last Saturday, we did not have to queue. In fact, there were very few people queueing. If that’s the case, I think they should have a fast lane for those with online tickets. Do visit Sunway Lagoon and try the new games added recently. Even the Rumah Hantu is featuring new line of ghosts. Hehehe.
