After fun and exciting adventure race along Royal Klang Town Heritage Trail, we checked in to Empire Hotel Subang for our overnight stay. It was my first time staying at the Empire Hotel Subang and boy, it felt like home away from home. I shared the Premium Essential room with the glamourous Pooh Tizzy Britney (awesome blog she has there).
When I opened the door to our room, my heart jumped upon seeing a work station as I planned to work as much as I could during the trip. Basically, the room is divided into two partition separated by the bathroom in the middle. Among the facilities provided in the guest room is internet/wifi, electronic key card system, individually controlled air condition, mini bar, rain shower, electronic in-room safe, hair dryer, shaver outlet, coffee & tea making facilities, working desk, satelitte tv with in-house movie channels, iron & ironing board, personalised check in/out.
In total, Empire Hotel Subang has 198 rooms. There are 5 types of rooms to choose from with the basic being Premier Essential. Next is Premier Essential Plus. For family or large party, you can opt for Premier Dualistic which has two king size beds. Meanwhile, the Premier Clique comes with two bedroom, outfitted with one King size and two single beds. The most luxorious duplex suite is the Empire Sanctuary.
There are many charging points in the room. So, we don’t have to take turns to charge our gadgets. Yippie!
Another interesting feature of the Empire Hotel Subang is the inter-connection with the Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang. Whenever you need to grab something or have a sudden urge to shop, you can just walk next door to Empire Shopping Gallery.
Later that night, we devoured the delicious buffet dinner at the Empire Hotel Subang’s Kitchen Art Brasserie. Since it was a Halloween night, the menu was served in Halloween style. I’d leave you to imagine how good was the food served!
So, all in all, I would definitely recommend Empire Hotel Subang for travelling professionals, family and honeymoon couples. Make sure you check out the stylish Emperor Ballroom. When in the Empire Hotel Subang, don’t forget to look up to the ceilings. It gives you a different experience altogether.
